Mirage

Mirage has been my favorite word since a long long time, I believe it embodies the spirit of a poet and the dreamy vision of the fantasies and optimism he holds in his core. Although this poem has a cynical backdrop, it has more to associate with illusion and the fleeting nature of a 'moment'!

Feeling vulnerable in your dreams arcade

That you wake up to the actual with a strong facade

Finally when dreams are only a close camouflage

Reality is ‘present’ as a distant mirage.
